2008 LASTA CALENDAR
LASTA's CALENDAR for 2008 is now AVAILABLE! The third calendar to be produced by LASTA is a varied collection of images that reflect the activities of the association over the twelve month period beginning in August 2006. The photographs were taken by talented amateur photographers who have been recording Louisiana's railroad activities for several years, and kindly offered to LASTA to support its goals. We believe that our calendar is a worthy addition to any wall! And you can acquire a copy in one of several ways ...
- Become a member of LASTA. For an annual fee of $35, membership includes
your immediate family, for which you receive a calendar, a quarterly newsletter,
entry to LASTA's events at reduced prices, and access to the LASTA_Members
Yahoo group to receive advance notice of events, train movements, etc.
Also you will have made a contribution to securing the future of SP745.
- Purchase your calendar for $15 at one of four hobby shops in the Kenner-Metairie
area, who kindly support LASTA's efforts. The hobby shops are, in alphabetical
order, Hobby Hut, Hub Hobby Shop, Kenner Train Shop, and Mike's Train
Shop. Please patronize these vendors for your model railroad needs.
- Purchase your copy for $15 from the Gift Shop when you attend one of
LASTA's functions such as Steam Fest. or when you visit the Yard.
- Place an order via the Gift Shop by leaving an e-mail with your name and address, and the number of calendars that you require. We can send you an invoice with the shipment, or you may order directly from L.B.Langley, RR 5, Box 171-1, Jacksonville, TX 75766 including your remittance in the form of a check. The calendars cost $15 each, with $4 to cover postage and packing.
LASTA MERCHANDISE
LASTA merchandise is generally available at all of our events. You may also order these items To cover our shipping costs, please include an additional $2 per shirt / hat and $1.50 per item for any other item. Allow 6 to 10 day for processing. If you have any question, you may contact our shop manager.
